North Dakota Intermediary for Learner-Centered Innovation
The North Dakota Hub for Innovative Education and Personalized Learning serves as the long-term home for the North Dakota Personalized Learning Network (NDPLN), a statewide, educator-driven learning community advancing personalized, competency-based learning across North Dakota.
Our Story
North Dakota has a long-standing history of personalized learning, with many districts actively engaging over the last decade. The Intermediary serves as a statewide connector that strengthens collaboration, alignment, communication, and long-term sustainability for learner-centered innovation efforts across North Dakota. The Intermediary bridges state policy and local implementation by connecting education, workforce, higher education, community, and state leadership systems around a shared vision for learner-centered learning and student success. In 2025 the state committed $1 million in direct funding to support the intermediary to coordinate expansion and sustainability of the North Dakota Network for Personalized Learning
